Corso Rossellino, 53026 Pienza SI, Italy
Wonderful valley and it’s magical to be here at sunset. The valley just lights up in different colors. Try and get here at least half an hour before sunset and soak in the view. Post the sunset head to a nice restaurant near by for a drink or two.
The is quite possible the most beautiful place in Italy. And that is saying something considering how beautiful the rest of the country is. With rolling green hills and scattered trees and old buildings, it really is a sight to behold. There are many wineries in the area and all make delicious wines. The thing that brought me to the area is that it is where they filmed some of the iconic scenes in the move “Gladiator”. You can walk the path that Russel Crowe does in the movie when he is returning home from war. Highly recommend going there and just exploring the area.
These beautiful little city’s ♥️ beautiful little and romantic streets and restaurants and a stunning scenery around the city.
This place has excellent views of the beautiful Tuscany region. Stop by for a sunset, and I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Wow. Just like I imagined it. We went by rental car in the beginning of May, and the hills where still green. We stopped every 2 minutes as the views are breathtaking.
