Stunning baroque church off the Piazza Navona. Sumptuously decorated with every inch painted and marbled it appears. Contains the skull of St Agnes - very small! Still a working church and holy place of course, so respect needed. A must if you are in the Piazza already. Cool in summer too!
Amazingly build... Great architect and beautiful piece of work a must visit.
Its so beautiful and cozy. You absolutely need to get inside
Quite a spectacular church. The sign says "No photos", but this is not enforced. A tremendous location adjacent to Piazza Navona.
This baroque church is located at Piazza Navona, just next to the statue/fountain of the four rivers. It is designed and commissioned by Borromini, rival of Bernini who designed the fountain. Unfortunately the church was closed for visitors when we visited it.
