Piazza del Duomo, 20122 Milano MI, Italy
The crown jewel of Milan, this iconic building is definitely on top of the list for must-visit when you're in Milan. Try to get there early morning to avoid tourist swamp. Also, the stairs pass is worth going given the city view from the top is stunning (even when it was raining heavily during my visit).
An impressive structure to explore. We did the roof tour which was great. Buying the fast pass tickets worth the price. It shorten our wait time to nearly non and saved like half an hour or more. Great view of the city from the top. Great statues.
It’s a nice church, very detailed if you can get closer. If you are staying more than just a couple of hours than you must climb on the top of the church. On the square you may take some nice pictures with pigeons, but also it seemed that you need to take extra care to your pocket too.
I'm not religious but I love looking at different architecture so this was a must. The church itself was beautiful and if you visit make sure you take the trip to the top. The view of the city is amazing plus you can check out all the different details of the pillars.
One of the most visually impressive buildings I've ever seen. Get tickets from the machines to the south of the Cathedral (it's much quicker to use the electronic machines than the people). Inside is surprisingly calm despite the number of people as the building is absolutely massive, and very tastefully done by the standards of Italian Churches
