We love this cafe - great coffee, great breakfast - you can get omelettes, pancakes as well as more traditional Italian cakes and sandwiches. They are open for lunch too. The place is beautifully decorated, relaxing and has very clean bathrooms. I notice a statement in the reviews below that someone saw a red headed staff member being rude to customers of Asian origin. There have been people of all races in this cafe in the two months we have been going there and we have never witnessed racist behaviour - nor would we tolerate it. The argument may have been about something else entirely - interpreting without a good understanding of language can be tricky. It may also have been a staff member who is no longer there - no red heads while we have been going there! We have found the wait staff to be delightful, friendly, attentive but non invasive. This is a very good value place - a great spot to chill out and enjoy the food, drinks and ambience in a great location. Highly recommended.
Hostess has zero people skills. Food is okay but the slow and rude service when the restaurant is basically empty, certainly not worth it.
Amazing place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great food and beautiful venue. Highly recommended.
I don't get the one star ratings? The service was typical of a Roman restaurant/cafe, which granted is not up to American standards, but the drinks were good and made with pride. Try the Basil Dream (a gin martini) it was great! I love the ambience. Italian does help here, its not a tourist bar, which is why I like it.
Horrible service. For an empty restaurant the hostess wasn't too keen on doing her job
