Christchurch Pl, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, Co. Dublin, Ireland
A very beautiful and historical place. The oldest structure in Dublin and one of the oldest cathedrals in Europe. It was very informative and easy to walk through on your own and learn a lot. Make sure to get a join ticket to Dublinia and the Cathedral, it's a great rate and gives you a perfect primer on all the history of the city. This is a must see if you're visiting the city, or even if you live there!
A truly breathtaking experience. You have to go and really read up while you're there to realize how amazing this place really is. Worth the price. Spend a lot of time in the crypt and try to carve out about an hour of your day. The mummified cat and rat are a fascinating little bonus.
informative and interesting to learn some rare and unique things about this church . more than a church a.place of past historic influence. so if you enjoy history, architecture or the religious side of things this is one of those. congratulations on a great tour to the guide
Me and the family enjoyed this church. I recomend taking the tour with the guide. You will be brought up to the bell tower and will actually ring the church bells! There is no way any church in the states let you do something like this. Take a picture! The tour guide has a great sense of humor.
Visiting Christ Church was one of the best experiences we had in Dublin. I would definitely recommend visiting the Cathedral and doing the guided tour. The tour was personalized, fun, engaging, and we learned a lot about the amazing history related to Christ Church. If you do the guided tour you also get to ring the bells as part of the tour. Great experience and definitely worth the money.
