There will be sets of stairs! Consider yourself warned. Other than that relatively small obstacle, you'll see a great scenery at the bottom of the stairs. Honestly speaking, it's not as good as less-known but a hidden-gem waterfalls in Indonesia, but this one still offers a great deal. It looks like that it's one of those popular wedding photo spot in Bali, there are a lot of wedding couples having their photo shoot, although it shouldn't bother you because they'll not ask you to move or do anything to disturb your time... At least not in my case.

Great place, if you go there early morning. No much people means too much peace and calm :-D The road to this falls is also cool. With farmlands around, it makes your drive feel good with fresh air. It takes a bit effort to climb down, but it's really worth it. You can even play here most of times, unless there's too much water in the falls, and that's when the locals will put up a no entry board. It's a great place - a must visit if you are in Ubud.

Despite the steep pathway down, it’s a worthwhile journey to enjoy the cooling mist and spray from the gushing waterfall. If you’re keen to take a dip, watch your footing on the uneven bottom, as it has a few rocks etc that can cause one to stumble. The waters are relatively clean, though I certainly wouldn’t be drinking the stuff! Nice tropical forest surroundings, and some good photo opportunities. There are less densely packed waterfalls around if you search a little deeper, and probably without the entrance fee. Suggest trying to get here early or later in the day to avoid the hoards of tourists.
