India is worth a visit for the Taj Mahal alone, but on this full-day excursion, visitors to India will catch several additional sites, including the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will be picked up at 6 am from your hotel in Delhi and take a 3.5-hour ride to Agra (220 km). On your way there you will have a 15-minute stop for tea, coffee and restroom use.
Upon arrival to Agra, you will meet your tour guide and proceed on an excursion to the Taj Mahal. It was built in 17th century by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz. After the excursion, you will have lunch. You will then proceed to Agra Fort, where you can witness the most moving view of the Taj Mahal from a little octagonal tower that lies across the Jamuna river.
The tour concludes with a visit to the fort and you will then be transferred back to Delhi approximately at 6 pm. There is an option of a drop-off at your hotel or airport in Delhi.
