Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Bangalore Airport, overnight stay at Bangalore.

Day 2: Drive to Coorg (265kms/ 6hrs).

Day 3: FULL DAY IN COORG to experience emerald landscapes and hectares of spice & Coffee plantations.

Day 4: Drive to WAYANAD (137Kms/ 4Hrs). Enjoy the fantastically unspoilt landscape remote forest reserve.

Day 5: Day trip to KABINI wildlife sanctuary (232Kms/ 5Hrs) -beckons with the promise of elephants, gaur, deer and a rumour of tiger. Located on the southern fringes of the Nagarahole National Park.

Day 6: Drive TO HASSAN (205Kms/ 5Hrs) - eventful and rich history of the rule of the Hoysalas.

Day 7: Day trip to BELUR & HALEBID (85Kms/ 2Hrs). Visit 12th-century Hindu temples, best examples of Hoysala architecture.

Day 8: Drive to CHITRADURGA & HOSPET (328Kms/ 8Hrs)- Visit the Chitradurga Fort.

Day 9: Visit HAMPI - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 14th century temples. Chronicles left by Persian and European travellers, particularly the Portuguese.

Day 10: Visit HAMPI.

Day 11: Visit AIHOLE, PATTADKAL and drive to BADAMI (271Kms/ 6Hrs) – visit the historic site of ancient and medieval era Buddhist, Hindu and Jain monuments, 7th and 8th century CE Hindu and Jain temples.

Day 12: FULL DAY AT BADAMI – the regal capital of the Badami Chalukyas from 540 to 757 AD. It is famous for its rock cut structural temples.

Day 13: DRIVE TO GOKARNA (250Kms/ 6Hrs).

Day 14: FULL DAY AT GOKARNA Beach - scenic, with the rocky mountains and Western Ghats on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other.

Day 15: TRANSFER TO HUBLI AIRPORT FOR DEPARTURE (147Kms/ 3Hrs).
