The restaurant is very nice. Some of the art work is out of place for an upscale place. The vegetarian choices are very good as are the local lamb choices. The staff are spot on and very attentive. The ambiance is chic with a grand piano playing. Well worth the stop.
I had the surf and turf menu and every dish was spot on. The scallops was perfect and the plate with the different meat and lobster was good together. The desert of chocolate lion bar was one of the best dessert I have eaten for a long while. My wife's vegan menu was also very good and she recommends that if you are looking for cage food. The service was also perfect and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended this place!
There's some absolutely amazing meals to be found in Reykjavik, and this is one of the top. This last trip I had the fish soup and I can't stop thinking about it. Make no mistake, the prices are steep, but it's worth every króna.
The ambient is very elegant there is also live piano music. The dishes offer surprisingly good mixture of tastes. One of the best Restaurants we tried in Reykjavik!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very good meal, well prepared. However, the atmosphere was ruined by very loud group of American tourists, so we couldnt hear each other at our table. We have reserved in advance, so expected that we would get the table somewhere in more quiet area.
