Veltusund 3b, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland
I know what you are thinking: "I didn't come to Iceland to eat Middle Eastern cuisine!" But here is the thing, Shannon, ya did. . . You just don't know it yet. The lamb is an absolute delight. Perfectly seasoned, it is paradoxically thin enough to be crispy yet thick enough to be juicy and tender. The rice they serve with the signature Mandi dish is incredible and compliments the crisp and the flavor of the lamb. Oh, and the fries are good too. I am planning my return already and it will involve the lamb on the fries.
Small but nice place where to eat some good Arabic food. We had two wraps and fries. Super cheap and tasty food.
Food is as advertised on the website and internet pictures. They taste excellent as well! Tried all three dishes my friends and myself got. They all taste very good and they offer excellent sauces in some dishes.
Nice food. Reasonable price. Good people. Stomach upset next day, will not totally blame them.
Perfect place for a late night meal in downtown Reykjavik. Especially if you've gone on a northern lights tour and get back after all of the restaurants are closed. The hummus is phenomenal
