We had a wonderful trip with the first boat in the morning,Andrew our tour guide did a fantastic job. The condition was great, we got very close to the ice rooks, saw a seal and learned a lot about glaciers and Iceland. The whole team was fantastic and offered a great service, thanks to all of the team. You made us a wonderful Start into the day.

I did the adventure tour with Tamara and it was absolutely breathtaking! Worth every penny. You will get all the way to the glacier wall (around 7 km long ride) and then spend some time between the icebergs in the lake. Plenty of time to take photos, just don’t forget to take your phone out of your pocket before you put on the life jacket.

Don`t take the amphibian boat but opt for the Zodiac Boat tour, you get much closer to the icebergs and seals. An absolutely unforgettable experience. Make sure you dress warm as the boat goes fast.

We had the opportunity to be a part of this experience. Elias our guide was very informative about the history, and activity around the glacier wall. For good or bad we ended up seeing two glacier walls slip into Jokulsalron. Elias was quick to point out that level of activity was unusual. We could see the waves created by the glacier breaking come all the way to our boat. I decided not to go with amphibious boat after the recent duck boat incident.

We took the zodiac tour. The company should not run a tour when raining heavily, without providing proper waterproof & insulating cover. It was such a day. Everyone on our boat was relieved when the tour was over. We disembarked the boat freezing and dripping wet. Our guide was friendly, as in, he was a friendly seasonal worker. He did not come across as very professional. His job was to ferry us around the lagoon and show us icebergs - which can be very well seen from the shore, too. I absolutely do not believe this tour is worth the price.
