Hafnargata 28, Keflavík, Iceland
Just got there my meal, it was really tasty, good personal. But at the end I got in accident when I went to the bathroom and later some guy easily open the door, would be better to pay attention on it , lucky for me I was only washing my hands. The rest is perfect.
We both had very tasty pasta dishes. Reasonably priced by Iceland standards. Good apple pie dessert, ala mode, of course. Friendly, personable service.
What a pleasant surprise! Our children wanted pizza, so we were looking for a place that served pizza, as well other foods. Usually, a pizza place isn’t going to be a home run when it comes to the other dishes, but that was not the case. Looks can be deceiving from the outside, but inside the place had a fun and creative atmosphere. The food was actually terrific. One child ordered a pizza, while the other had lasagna. The adults had a perfectly cooked salmon with mushroom risotto and the lobster salad with beautiful langoustine (see picture). Despite not living in town, we will absolutely drive just to visit Fernando’s.
The food was good and the service very friendly. Nothing really extravagant but good pasta and seafood. Note that the spicy lava sauce is really not spicy at all, the pasta dish is still good but they should really reduce the 3 hot pepper spicy warning. We also had a really nice conversation with some other tourist so that made the visit quite fun. Food wise I would return as the quality and price are good.
This place was pretty busy when we got there, but much deserved! We split the lobster pizza which was amazing and the deserts were delicious. Overall great dining experience!
