Beautiful natural arch that’s part of a bird sanctuary. Tons of birds on this thing. The best views of the arch are from the light house or the lower parking area a little further away.

The treacherous path leading to mesmerizing scenic points is a must-visit place for anyone visiting Iceland. The 360* view around covering the Diamond beach is simply spell-bounding.

Dyrholaey is a very weird but fascinating place. The weather was windy and foggy, but we experienced a unique place. On top of a 120m cliff with views over a green vegetation, black sediments beach, white shoreline and the blue ocean was just incredible. On top of that, the erosion have created several incredible features and they are now the nesting paradise of some birds, puffins among them. It must be wonderful in a really nice day...

From this beautiful cliff, where the sea waves endlessly pond into, you have one of the most beautiful views of South Iceland. It is one of the better places to spot the puffin. Make sure you are firmly stand your state because the wind regularly plagues this cliff.
