Budapest, Komor Marcell u. 1, 1095 Hungary
Saw the first of the two Ring cycle performances in June 2019. Absolutely amazing production (semi-staged -- costumes, some dancers, singers in formal dress and video projections on the screen on stage). Unforgettable experience, and the venue is out of this world. Unlike classical concert halls this opened in 2005 and so has fabulous acoustics and seats that fit. Views from every seat were splendid and the quietest moments reached all the way to the back (had both the best and less good seats in different operas). Folk who know opera in general, and Wagner in particular, far better than me reassured me this was just as good as it seemed.
One of the bests, if not the best concert halls in Hungary. It can host symphonic orchestra together with electronic music in a professional way. The acoustics simply just great.
If you like classical music, its a must to by a ticket to a concert inm the Bartok Bela hall. There is also a theater-hall n the building having smaller capacity. There is an electrical organ somewhere in the building (3 manuals + pedal) which you canplay and listen to in headset.
Love the place as concerts are very moving due to acoustics.Hard to get by if.you chose public transport.
It is quite good. I've been here several times, and I really love everything
