The South Coast of Iceland is one of the most popular destination due to its closeness to Reykjavik and its varied and spectacular landscape. Within a few hours drive from Reykjavik you will pass waterfalls, glaciers, volcanos, black sand beaches and countless other places of interests.
These are my recommendations of things to do, guided experiences and local insights.
Whether or not your a Belieber, there's no question that the landscape in the video I'll Show You is worth seeing for yourself. From the stretches of the black sand beach, the abandoned airplane, standing behind waterfalls to the drifting icebegs that have just broken off from the glacier in Jokulsarlon, a trip to the south coast is a must! We listed a few tours below where you will be sure to see the magic that Iceland has to offer, including getting on a zodiac and getting up close and personal with glaciers. And not like you need anymore convincing, but here's one last article about the South Coast....because we know how awesome it is, and we want you to know it too.
