Embark on an off-road terrain tour on this jeep safari within the south Rhodes area. The expedition is a 3-hour outdoor adventure traversing through bumpy roads and rocky terrains. You will be accompanied by a professional guide who will provide commentaries on other attraction sites accessible along the way.
Stop At: Pefkos Eye
The Bumpy Rhodes Safari in the South shows a great diversity in nature, local culture, and driving experience. It took several years to develop the route here, and we as the guides are very pleased with the result.
Drive through small Greek villages, follow riverbeds. Get into the mountains and the forest.
Look into the valleys, smell the mountain herbs, eat some local food and swim at a secluded beach.
Our tour starts at the moment. We pick you up from the hotel, follow the East Coast, pass through Lindos and Pefkos towards Kiotari. Afterward, we pass through the small Village of Asklipion to see its Castle. We will then follow the river to the village of Profilia, where we stop at a pleasant tavern.
Continuing towards the highest mountain Attaviros we drive through mountain roads with stunning views. We go across the wine region and come to the second-highest mountain Akramitis where we stop for Lunch.
The afternoon is a pleasant shadowed drive through the forest, views on the West Coast with plenty of small Islands, the panorama of Monolithos and swimming at a secluded beach. On the way, you will receive commentaries from the guide.
10.00 Passing through the small village of Asklipion, along the riverbed towards Profilia village.
11.00 Take refreshments at a pretty tavern in Profilia village.
11.30 Traverse through mountain roads with good views, herbs, goats, olives, and forest. From St. Isidoros through wine country to the Akramitis.
13.15 Move towards the viewpoint of Monolithos, on the way we will witness forest roads and spectacular sea views. Afterward, descent to our secluded beach.
14.30 Swim or stroll the beach.
15.15 Departure from the beach. At around four, we will arrive at the first hotels.
