There's not that much else to this location other than it being a historical tower that has a great physical location by the seaside promenade. That said, the area in front of the tower, specifically the one facing the sea, is a great attraction for locals and tourists alike. It was a great location for people-watching. There is a range of activities taking place at any time, including plain old walking, riding a bike or other two-wheel gadgets, and taking a cruise around the port area.

Worth a visit! The ticket is cheap, the view from the top is beautiful! Also, there are many boards inside to tell you the story of Thessaloniki, video walls and other things. Great place, well done!! 👏🏻👏🏻

Well probably the most engaging site in Thessaloniki as it has an audio guide that runs you trough all historical periods and facts. You can actually buy a ticket with 15 pounds and see 5 sites/museums and the White Tower is included. Definitely the best view in Thessaloniki :D

If you're just driving through Thessaloniki, but don't want to miss the chance to visit at least one thing, then I recommend this tower. The ticket is a few euros. Despite the rain, I was able to enjoy the view of the city.

So made a marry-go-round this place. I liked the architecture a lot. Plus it is awesome to view at sunset.
