Very beautiful surroundings and a nice drive from Athens. Drive duration Aprox 2h 30m from Athens. Great day trip! Sunday was a very busy day for this beach. Many visitors but not uncomfortably so. One major downside. Very difficult to park. A tip at the end of the beach their is a parking area (4 euros).Water was very clear!!! Beach is mostly unorganized you bring your own umbrellas etc. (Make sure you do for a long stay). Small part is organized with sun beds and umbrellas ( cost aprox. 5€ per person). There are places to eat along the shore line.
