Thought it best to try o Kostas whilst in Athens for a takeaway gyros. They were tasty enough but there is nothing that different from others I have tasted. So if there is not much of a queue grab a gyros from here if the line is half way down the street I'd just go somewhere else
So fresh and hot. Crispy with some salt. Very more-ish! Wish I had room for two! Very busy when I went near closing time at 15:30. Not a fancy place but lots of people outside. Yum!
Really good if you’ve never tried a gyros. Traditional But busy. We stood in the Line for 30 minutes. The Price is only €2.5 for one, consider to buy two if you are very hungry. The one with beef was our favorite
The wait simply isn’t worth it. Waited a total of 45 minutes. Multiple people cut in line and the meat ended up being rather dry. You’re better off going to another gyros place also called kostas which is a seven minute walk away. Simply isn’t worth hype or the long wait when there is another close by gyros place that tastes better and has a much shorter wait.
Best souvlaki I've ever had and that's saying something as I've had hundreds! I don't know how they do it, but every bite was heaven. The paprika and parsley add a wonderful touch. Make sure you get one! Try and go before 2pm as they sell out quick.
