Wonderful museum directly next to the Acropolis. They have tons of artifacts dating back centuries and don't forget to go around the side to the basement area where you can see how they ran water through ancient pipes long ago. Very well maintained, lots of exhibits appear to go on rotation or they are keeping space for additional artifacts in certain periods. Very pleased with our visit here - well worth the time.

It's well worth visiting. The museum is spacious, bright and interesting. There are three levels and a level under the museum, where you can see the remains of ancient living quarters. The museum is wheelchair friendly (but be prepared for some hard work if you have a manual one and coming up from the underground level). There are lifts for the above ground levels and staff is very helpful. I really appreciated the view of the Acropolis from the museum, and there is a restaurant with the same view with reasonable prices.

I would highly advise booking skip the line tickets for this attraction as the line is always outside the tour. Entrance fees are very reasonable at 10 euros. My favourite parts of the visit were watching the computer generated video showing the damage that the Acropolis and Parthenon sustained over the centuries and visiting the newly uncovered ruins underneath the museum.

The Museum is more for those interested in archeology, but worth the visit. Entry fee is 10 Euros so this might be a deciding factor for some. Outside the museum are restaurants serving different cuisine but also be careful there are people begging and some women out there plying you with fresh flowers (roses to be exact) in hope that you will give them money. Be careful and be firm in whatever decision you make about them.

To enter the museum it is 10 euros per person. The museum is very clean and beautiful. My boyfriend & I, spent about 3 hours in the museum. Upstairs in the museum there is a coffee shop & book store. Also upstairs there is a short video about Acropolis. The video rotates between playing in Greek and English. It is worth watching to learn the history of the Acropolis.
