The museum is still closed! Sadly there is no information about it except the A4 papier on the doors.

Currently closed for the installation of an exhibit: no information beyond that posted. They really need to have this information online and linked to google: we walked 35 minutes to get here. 🤷‍♂️

Came all the way from Varkiza for nothing. The museum is closed and there is no information about this on their web site or Facebook page. Really annoying & arrogant way of dealing with public.

Pretentious, empty, time wasting fluff of experience. It seems that the only thing they want to boast about and be proud of is the building itself and not the exhibits. Sure its cool looking but inside it was empty. There are NO permanent exhibitions and only 2 floors are open to the public with the rest being closed off. Those 2 floors only had 2 temporary exhibitions which would span across that empty space trying to make it more meaningful and impactful which failed miserably. Visitors were seen left around wandering trying to understand whats going on and then leaving soon after. Personally I found it sad and incredibly annoying, should have been structured better with more exhibits and floors open to the public. The price was only 5€ so that's cheap, but honestly there are so many better things and contemporary art places in Athens you shouldn't bother with this one.

Such a waste of money, the director and curators of this 'museum' should be ashamed! The artworks were just conceptual rubbish with no sense of skill or aesthetic or even formal qualities. They call it visual arts but there's nothing visual about it. Why is the building 80% empty??? With so many struggling contemporary artists, how come you only came up with two meaningless exhibitions? Don't be lazy and please go around fishing up emerging talents from the fine arts universities - the REAL art scene would thank you...
