Salt Mines Tour - Tour 3A

Shortly after you´ll reach the highlight of the tour - the 500 year old salt mines in Berchtesgaden. Dressed with traditional miners’ clothes, a special train brings you deep into the mountain. A spectacular underground world is waiting for you! Discover the special magnificently illuminated subterranean scenery and the fascinating charm of the world of the salt-miners. Take the slide down to the spectacular salt lake which you will be crossing by boat. After the tour through the mines you will be visiting the picturesque town of Berchtesgaden where you have the possibility to try savoring some traditional Bavarian specialties.
