Lost a potential customer - a missed opportunity I got a gift certificate to use at this restaurant and since it’s supposed to be an exceptional place, I saved it for a special occasion. Only to find out when making the reservation that they can’t honor it because their vendor processing the gift certificates went bankrupt and „they don’t have access to the money“. Considering this is not supposed to be your average restaurant, I find this practice to turn customers away to be an extremely poor business decision. They should have honored the „lost“ amount, we would have gone and spent much much more than the certificate amount and probably raved about the place. Instead I’m frustrated writing this review. How short-sighted of their management!!

I wanted to find a good location for special birthday dinner with my wife. I found the Speisemeisterei and was not disappointed. The food was oustanding and absolutely worth the money. The atmosphere is calm, modern, and friendly. The staff is very attentive and professional. It was a delight and we already came back :0)

All I can say is the food is great... phenomenal! Portions are small, but at 4 to 8 courses, you are sure to be full upon completion. Parking is not close, but it's free. It's expensive, but well worth it. I'm from Texas. And let me tell you, the new fillet they have is THE BEST CUT OF STEAK I'VE EVER HAD!
