Chronicles of Georgia Temqa, T'bilisi, Georgia
It's big, it's relatively impressive. Would be better if it had any information at all explaining what's displayed on the slabs, especially for those who don't have a solid grasp of the finer points of Georgian history.
Impressive monument! It is a little bit far. I would say: go if you have time left. First time I saw such a huge monument. If you enjoy sculpture, you must go there: embossed works on the stone columns! Very high stairs, go there when you are not tired, okay?
The location is not close to any tourist destinations and few buses reach the place. I rather recommend to ride taxi if you really want to see this monument. The monument is impressively big, which can easily be seen from distance. It stands on the elevated location. Then, once visitor reaches the monument, s/he could enjoy panoramic view of Tbilisi.
Massive structure with concrete pillars clad by metal cast art of the history of Georgia. Great structure and great work by artisans who did it. The government and people should preserve it properly. Best of luck.
It's great !!! the stone works are huge, I've never seen something like that. I visited the place after a brief swimming in the Tbilisi sea, it's right beside the monument and you have a nice view to the lake.
