Sighnaghi, Georgia
We had a wonderful lunch! Fresh vegetables from the garden, a fluffy and oh so delicious omelette, pork with wine and plumps sauce and an original wine. Very attentive host. If your are tired of the typical Georgian food, this is the perfect place. Lunch time is not crowded and were very quick in serving us.
Food was fine. However, it was rather odd that of the wine list presented to us, they had none of the red wines. Only one bottle of the new harvest, which tasted too young. Odd and disappointing for the restaurant of a winemaker.
The location is beautiful. But, somehow I was expecting more from the wine and food.
Best restaurant we went to in Georgia. The quality of the food is excellent, so flavorful. Very professional service. Reservations highly recommended.
The place looks lovely. But thats all! The personal was so very unfriendly. We had to ask ourselves around the menu to find a wine they had. The tastings were not available. After finally finding a wine that is available (the waitress did not assist) we got served without being able to try it first. The wine was corked and tasted awful. As to young i would say, compared to other georgian quevri style wines we had before. Try some other place and dont be blinded by the looks of the place.
