Pretty stunning sitting on top of the hill. My wife and I sat at a little cafe right at the bottom on the hill and had lunch so we could look up at it. Only real negative thing I have to say is climbing up the steps there a lot of vendors, there were some that as soon as you walked up will try to grab your hand and put a string on your finger to show you something, not sure what, I didn't want to engage with and had to pull my hand away and ask them to leave me alone multiple times, so be wary of that. There was a pretty long line but it actually moved pretty quick. Inside was very beautiful and quiet. I lit a candle and said a small prayer for my deceased mother. There's not a lot to see it's a pretty short tour, but worth it. I saw on one of these souvenir coins that you could buy was a picture of a statue of Michael slaying a dragon. I couldn't find it and asked a number people that work there where it was and none of them could answer for me. Walking around I eventually found it. If you head outside go to the left and in the back you can see it sitting on top of the cathedral. Also The small town off to the left as on top of the hill is very cool and unique to visit. Lots of artists and crepe cafes.

The location is nice. The view from the church towards Paris is beautiful. The church itself is well maintained. If you visiting there using public transport then prepare climb lots of stairs. The gathering area near the is awesome lots of cafe and artist waiting for u to sketch a portrait of u within a minutes.

Be careful with the girls who are asking for signatures. They are trying to pick your pocket. The tour guide told us this in the way there but I didn't think we'd actually see them, yet there they were. Other than that, the place is great. Go off to the left of it to the street where there's some nice shops and restaurants.

This is my favourite place in Paris. It’s quite a climb, yet there are some great restaurants at the top. It is a tourist trap at weekends so probably best to avoid then. In the week it’s busy but easy to find somewhere to eat without booking. The views of Paris are spectacular and the cathedral itself is very impressive. Great place to soak in the atmosphere.

Fantastic, awesome, l was in awe. Never seen so many people sitting on steps in almost a party mood. One thing l would advise be aware of your valuables very much got the feeling you could loose your property. The views outside are spectacular if you can make your way through the crowds to take those special pictures.
