Place des Vosges, 75004 Paris, France
One of my favorite places in Paris. Always lovely to look at and great place to just sit quietly and observe what's going on around you. Today it was raining and I turned my camera on all the colorful umbrellas that moved through this beautiful park. If you're in the area, don't miss this neighborhood gem.
This green space is a very favourite location for a very wide range of people because of the large green space and the relaxed atmosphere and friendly environment.. it is reported to be the oldest planned square in Paris..... It is especially busy on the weekends and on sunny days .. many restaurants and art shops are situated around the perimeter.. It can be entered from many directions.. there is a fine museum on Victor Hugo here in the square which represents his rented apartment from 1832 to 1848...
One of the oldest parks and still in use. Very simple and relaxing. I suggest you grab some food from a cafe and relax here to eat and enjoy the area. Best for a quick break.
A great little park not too far from the Marais. It has lots of seating and shade so would be a great spot for enjoying your lunch. It's the oldest planned square in Paris and the only actually square-shaped one I've seen there!
I really love this square. Years ago it was the house of Victor Hugo that brought me here. But then I found the park (with playground, statues, benches, fountains) in the center of all those building built the " same" and the symmetry is taking me away. Around you can enjoy some galleries, coffee shops and much more. You can easily spend here half a day without even going into the museum.
