7 Rue Rouget de Lisle, 11100 Narbonne, France
An almost unique survival, a vast underground warehouse complex built by the Romans. I found it fascinating. It was also blessedly cool, so you can see why it was used for wine storage. It was a very reasonable 4 euros (though one of my countrymen found that a little too much) Well worth a visit in a town full of history and good food.
Really interesting piece of history, tucked away under Narbonne residences. Well worth a visit if you are into Roman history.
Very interesting place in a beautiful town. Nice to see the history preserved. Well worth the entrance fee
A well maintained monument costs €4 to go a look around, nice to see it has been retained.
A great place to see largely intact Roman remains as well as a selection of pottery. Some of the underground areas are very well preserved and is interesting to see. However, most of the displays are exclusively in French with very few in English
