13 Rue de Saintonge, 75003 Paris, France
Great ambiance, food was delicious, and helpful staff given our limited french.
Fabulous food and cool place, no doubt. Worst possible experience in years. So much so that I am writing my first review ever despite having had dinner out 5 evenings a week for the last 10 years (I am a useless cook). I live 150m from Le Soma. First dinner was tonight. We were told after dinner that, oh surprise, foreign (Swiss) credit card machine didn't work for checks above 100 euros because of unspecified "wifi problems" and were rudely asked that one of us go to the ATM machine to get some cash. That kind of break a romantic dinner, I am telling you. When we pointed out that wifi doesn't discriminate on amounts (an engineering degree is sometimes useful), the waitress became unbelievably unpleasant and defensive. Why bother? Avoid the place.
Love this restaurant. The service outstanding the food was extraordinary. If you want great deserts. The rice covering blanket on the yuzu was dreamy.
One of the best meals I had in Paris - amazing food, delicious drinks, really cute space.
I've been there twice, and I'll definitely come back again. Small cozy Japanese tapas bar, with a good variety of both fish and meet, cooked in a creative way. Delicious, nice service too!
