I enjoyed learning about the history of this place and to find that it's actually owned by Brighton the city and not privately or by the royal family. A few rooms were not available due to being refurbished which was a shame but makes sense that it requires constant restoration. If you do not wish to pay for the tour, some of the grounds are available for free and when we visited there was a live music concert in the open space which was nice.

Growing up in Brighton seeing the exterior of the Palace as I passed regularly but never stepping foot inside, until now! I was absolutely thrilled at the opportunity to see what was behind this Indian inspired building. To my surprise the interior isstill of flamboyant oriental designs. It's a great historical building and a must do when visiting Brighton! I would recommend the audio guides whilst walking around! You can also enjoy tea and cakes on the rooftop balcony.

Great visit. Exteriors have an Indian style and Chinese theme for interiors. The ticket price is 15 pounds per person, with 2 pounds more you can take the audio guide which is very helpful. The palace is in good condition, you can admire all the original furnitures and ornaments. Moreover, the dragon-shaped chandeliers are wonderful. At the second floor, there is a little tea room where you can sit and enjoy the view of the garden from the balcony. Super recommended!

It's nice and some of the rooms have been restored in a lovely way, but it is expensive for what you get. It's £15 each and not worth that amount. I'm kinda glad I've been but I couldn't help but think that had it been demolished after Victoria R sold it, there would have been less money spent on restoration and more money spent by the council on the hoards of homeless in Brighton. That's not the problem of the restorers though, they've done a good job of the place.

Absolutely stunning! The audio device was very informative. The tea room at the top is a bit of a let down (the cakes were dry). Especially as we discovered a little gem of a cafe just before exiting.. Lovely little gift shop too
