Alexandria, As Sayalah Sharq, Qesm Al Gomrok, Alexandria Governorate, Egypt
Well maintained castle. It's small castle not much to explore. Entry ticket EGP 60 per person. Parking available at the entrance. Kiosks close to parking area provide good collection if souvenirs. Prices negotiable about 25 %. Trip will be over in less than 1 hr.
One of the nicest places in Alexandria. An astonishing fort. Entrance fee was LE60 for tourist and LE30 for students (came in as that without anything to show them). Bit annoying that i needed to pay LE10 for bringing a tripod. Place closed at 4pm.
Wonderful place, very good for a family trip. Just need some care about the museum or what they call it museum. I really loved it, but if it wasn't for the internet guiding information about the Citadel, I wouldn't know anything. The place is directly on the sea, the air current is so refreshing even in the basement. But needs to be cleaned and taken extra care of.
Beautiful historical place! Also, there are street market that you could buy a lot of things there and always try to bargain with the sellers there, you will get better prices . But, if you wanna go inside there's a parking ticket costs you 10 pounds. And go before 5 pm Because they close it at that time.
This citadel is historic and has many details of ancient Egypt. It's located very close to the Mediterranean sea and provides a good view of the sea. The place is also famous for tourists and bubbles at night. Just opposite it is the gun shooting club which is also amazing. When you visit this citadel, a tour guide takes you through the place and explains things as you take a tour round the building. It's really a lovely place and was built in sometime the 1800S
