The place itself is amazing. All green with fountains and a lake in the middle. It is a spacious area with benches to sit on or one could just enjoy sitting in the ground and have a typical picnic. The accessibility for wheelchairs is good. Having gone on a Friday, there were plenty of people there and kids were playing with fountains as if they were in a pool, which was not appealing and inviting to the eyes. But then again, my friends and I just ignored it and went deeper in the park and enjoyed a very nice afternoon.

This place was such a treat from the hustle and bustle of busy Cairo. We were skeptical about lying to get in but it’s well worth the 20LE to get it. Not only is it not crowded whatsoever but you’re not bombarded by pushy people but rather get to watch Egyptian families relax and converse on the green. We had lunch on the lake as well which was very affordable and tasty!

good for families and people seeking some nature within the crowded city of Cairo. easy to reach the new parking nearby is amazing. N.B its very important to avoid it in weekends and in national holidays if you want to enjoy some quietness.

This pretty park is worth visiting if one have an extra hour or two in Cairo. Very near Salah Eldeen citadel. after visiting the citadel one can enjoy a bit of greenery and fresh air at this park.the panoramic view from the restaurant at the top is super. On a clear day the pyramids could be seen from afar.and other monuments of Cairo.
