Kong Christians Alle 50, 9000 Aalborg, Denmark
We have been before, but whenever we venture to Aalborg, we always end up in this lovely museum. Friendly staff, and a permanent exhibition, which always allows room to discover something new, a tranquil garden with interactive art, and a cafe, which serves Michelin star quality food. I have to mention the cod dish specifically. Perfectly cooked fish and lovely, defined flavors that surprise the pallet. In short, it is a divine plate of food at a very reasonably price indeed!
It's good to see a museum that encourages young people to discover the wonders of contemporary art. On my visit the vast majority of people were of the younger generation, many making their own sketches & drawings & maybe producing future generations of artists in their own right. But this is somewhere for all generations to experience the wonders of modern art, don't miss it if you are in the area
A modern and beautifully designed Art Gallery. Enjoyed 3 hours here looking at the gallery's architecture, art and sculptures, and dined beside the fountain with live music in the summer lounge garden. Highly recommended :)
Very nice contemporary & modern art museum. Challenges your conception of art with a few nice interactive quizzes & themes.
Visited during Canica art exhibition. Remember, the entrance is free for Architectural students. I am not really into art, but museum itself looked very appealing. Exhibitions spans through single floor. You should have at least an 1 hour to go through all of it.
