Amalienborg Slotsplads 5, 1257 København K, Denmark
Changing of the guard is a bit over rated. Nicer to see during off peak season when there at less tourists. Happens every day at midday. Worth stopping to see if you are in the area. The museum is also cool and they change the exhibits every few months, I would recommend having a look to see what the exhibit is.
Beautiful palace and square. Lovely view up the street towards the Opera house which is across the canal. Go and see the changing of the guards. Low key but enjoyable. Some excellent architecture and very fine statues and fountains.
Fun to watch The Changing of the Guard ceremony everyday at noon. Well worth it. Not only is it free. But you can if you get there early you can get a good spot and get up close to the guards and actually get good pictures and see them in action. Not like Buckingham Palace in England where you can't get close to the Guards
Beautiful place, cool architecture and old statues. If you're lucky you can catch the guards patroling the site. Worth a visit!
Again Copenhagen shows some of it's marvelous architecture. The guards are interesting for a minute, but nothing too special. If you come for the guards, don't bother. If it's the beautiful buildings, this is for you!
