What to Expect

On this walking tour around the city of Trogir, you will have the opportunity to experience everything one of Croatia’s major coastal cities has to offer. The tour will begin at either one of the two meeting points, one in Split, and the other in Trogir. From either of these two pick up locations you will head towards the town of Trogir. If departing from Split there will be a one hour drive along the coast, if you're departing from Trogir there will simply be a brisk walk to the tour's starting point.

Once arriving at the starting point in Trogir the official tour will begin. Your tour guide will take you through all of the major historical landmarks in the town of Trogir and it is worth noting that the center of Trogir is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Some of the highlights of the tour include the city's organic beauty, which is an islet between the Croatian mainland and the island of Ciovo. The islet is accessible on foot. In addition to the town's natural beauty, the venetian era architecture is quite a sight to behold, especially the Cathedral of St Lawrence, which was built in 1204. Along with many other historical buildings to be marvelled at, the natural structure of the city will fascinate you with its narrow walkways and compact structure.
