This tour offers you a fantastic combination of tradition, nature, and local delicacies. Your day will begin with a two hour drive from either Split or Trogir to the medieval city of Ston. Ston is famous for having one of the longest wall defense structures in the world. In Ston you will see the ancient craft of salt making up close and personal. This will be followed by a walking tour of the city of Ston.
After your exploration of Ston, you will then head for Mali Ston (Small Ston), a village known for its oyster cultivation. It would be a grave sin to visit the town of Mali Ston without trying some of its legendary oysters: as such there will be oyster tasting, accompanied with a glass of wine of course, at Villa Koruna restaurant. Following the oyster tasting, lunch will be held at Villa Koruna, where you will be served traditional dalmatian delicacies.
Following lunch, you will be taken to a winery in a small village on the peninsula, where you will have the chance to enjoy some of Croatia’s finest wines.
