Best place in the world to see bears in their natural environment. Volunteers can tell you the story of every bear. This cute german shepherd can show you the way to bears.

It's the volunteers that make this place, loved the visit and very interesting to learn how the bears came to be at the sanctuary. We were lucky and watched four bears, there is no guarantee that the bears will be visible all the time though.

It’s very good what this Bear Refuge has been doing. They’re taking good care of the bears. When we were here, they have been very busy with constructions and improving the facility. The volunteers and staff are all very friendly and nice. The place are so unique with all the creativity of the volunteers from different countries. It is possible to apply on their website, i guess.

Located in the countryside, you'll easily find your way there using Bing Maps. Best time to visit is in the afternoon. We saw 5-6 bears from close distance and they were looking happy and healthy. Also, please keep your children quiet. Or at home.
