Trg opatice Čike 1, 23000, Zadar, Croatia
The entry is 30 kn, it's a nice museum especially the first and second floor. They have an enormous amount of old objects such as copper broaches.l, bone needles, statues and even dice. If you're trying to survive the Croatian sun it's a good 1.5 hours of interesting objects. I would have given 5 stars if the ground floor wasn't almost empty on comparison to the top floors and the exhibitions were a bit more interactive.
Good exhibition of local and regional history from 100,000 years ago up to the Croatian period. Many objects well presented. Probably too much information for the smallest kids but our 14 year old found it interesting.
From the outside the museum looks nice, but the presentation of the collection was very outdated. It would be interesting to have a greater variation in presenting the objects. Not recommended for kids due to lot of texts. I only gave it two stars because it has a free toilet.
Very nice museum with a great presentation of ancient history of Zadar and the Croatian coastline
Fantastic displays on 3 floors. There was a floor dedicated to Roman history but the other floors were equally well presented and interesting - to me.
