Shell:Great day out for all the family. Get transported around the world in the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes making sure you check out the cloud bridge...the kids will get wet! You get free entry on your pass for a whole year which is great as every holiday they have different events always fantastic with lots of educational activities for kids. Make sure you try the delicious food in the restaurant where most the home cooked means include produce grown on site!

Shell:If you’re visiting Cornwall book breakfast, lunch or dinner here! Overlooking the stunning Fistral Beach you’ll feel relaxed and will be well looked after. The fish depends on what has been caught that day and the menus change depending on the season. Take a stroll on the beach while you’re there or book a suft lesson then refuel at fifteen after!

Shell:A trip to Cornwall isn’t complete without visiting the beautiful harbour town of Padstow. Places to check out... The Padstow Lobster Hatchery where you can see the conservation program of local lobsters! Rick Steins fish & Chips - the best fish and chips you’ll ever eat! Take a boat trip across to Rock or a Seal safari (see other post about this) Enjoy a traditional Cornish Pasty from either The Chough Bakery or The Cornish Bakehouse as they’re the best in my opinion and eat it looking out onto the harbour but be aware of the pesky seagulls!

Shell:St Michaels Mount is such a lovely day out! Get there at low tide to walk across the then catch the boat back at the end of the day as you’ll see the pathway disappear under the ocean! Top tip I do t recommend taking a buggy the cobbles are a nightmare having said that there are places to leave them by the entrance but a carrier is better option if you have it! Beautiful gardens and activity sheets for kids to complete as they go around the house. Highly recommend The Goldolphin Arms on the mainland when you get back!

Shell:We booked the hour Safari trip and had the best time! It’s a little scary when you’re going fast across the waves but the kids loved it! Rocco is 5 and Valli is 3 and i would say I wouldn’t take younger than them. We saw seals and lots of different sea birds. You go into caves and around Gulland Rock. Spectacular views and an exhilarating ride! Such great fun if you’re in the local area .

Shell:Great day out for all the family. Highly recommend the full tour where you learn all about the history of Cider making and Healeys farm then get to sample all the fruit juices and ciders at the end! The scones in the cafe are amazing and the kids loved the small farm there too. Take a tractor ride through the orchards and admire the stunning views across Cornwall.
