Join this half day wine tour and you'll get to know the wine production process of one of the most progressive, exciting and internationally awarded wineries in Chile! Your half-day will be spent admiring the vineyards, exploring the wine cellars, and of course sampling wine!
Your 5-hour tour begins with a morning or afternoon pick up from your Santiago hotel before driving around one hour south to the winery.
Meet your private guide at the main entrance of the De Martino estate house for a brief introduction to the experience. Then, go to the organic vineyard where, with the help of a tasting pit placed among the vines, the guide will talk to you about the unique terroir of the wines produced by De Martino, Chile's second-largest producer of organic wines
Head down to the cellars and admire the 1,300-gallon (5,000-liter) wooden casks made in Austria; the fermentation tanks, and the bottling and labeling plant as your guide explains the processes that take place there.
After the tour, go to the main estate house to taste three premium De Martino wines as your guide explains the characteristics of each and answers your questions.
Afterward, your guide takes you to visit shops from other important wineries in the area, providing a broad taste of the singularities that make wines from the Maipo Valley unique.
