Only fresh goods. You will also find Venezuelan "empanadas" it's worth trying... You may also find meats, sea fruits, vegetables, fruits, great prices. A good time to go if you prefer to avoid crowds is in the mornings from Mon-Fri.
You can find everything you need at good prices 👌🤙🤩
Its a must for any foodie! Quite a different market than in other countries. Very down to earth, no fancy pancy stalls. People really come to do their shopping hete, carrying big trollers. I came with one of Stgo’s great chefs, noting where he buys what. I suggest to go to this market early, definitely before 10 am and follow someone who has a long list and buys a lot... don’t miss the nice coffee/lunch shops in the middle!
Great place to get to know the culture. Don’t dare come Sunday prices are high and is to crowded. Also be very careful of thief’s. My girlfriend got her cellphone stolen right out of he pocket.
Tout can find anything here at amazing prices. Rarely closed, it's an worrying place, full of life, people, many nations represented. It's a must see in Santiago.
