Rue Antoine Dansaert 6, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium
The good: - Very interesting fixtures and fittings, and clearly a historic venue - Live music and a sense of theatre to proceedings The not-so good: - Expensive (see the other reviews) - The choice of carpet and certain items of furniture really makes the venue look a lot more cheap than it should be Conclusion: It doesn't quite live up to its billing. The bar design does not lend itself well to viewing the performers, there are odd upholstery choices which take you away from the wonderful original fixtures. Service is very nice, but the eventual bill is not.
Nice place to party - small, good music and atmosphere.. bit crowded though.. I enjoyed it..
I've lived across the street from this place for about a year, and they always have loud parties and noisy guests until 5-6am, sometimes also on weekdays. Their outside smoking area is very dodgy. I've seen a fatal stabbing there, plenty of street fights, etc. There are plenty of other nice local pubs in this area which aren't bad neighbors.
Very very expensive and simple drinks. Think 13 euro for simple gt. Would not go if nothing special is on.
Such a pleasure to stumble across a live show today (Sunday). The four piece band were just brilliant, lovely intimate venue.
