King and, George St, Nassau, The Bahamas
A very enjoyable museum full of information on the real life pirates who once called Nassau home. Definitely a must see for anyone visiting Nassau! And the gift shop was fun too, I got my mates some pirate shot glasses!
Was on a cruise and came here to learn about the history of piracy in the Caribbean. Great museum, walking distance from the cruise port. If you don't want to pay for an expensive excursion this is a great activity.
Such a wonderful museum. A lot of great props and historical info on the walls. The 1 of 6 muskets at the end of the tour and pirate swords from that era was the highlight for me
Great for the Price, Just big enough for a cruise stop where you don't have all day. Good visuals and information. We all enjoyed it.
The piratical history ye can learn here be fine, indeed! The people be friendly, the props arrr accurate, the prices reasonable enough that even a pirate couldn't complain! We went, dressed in gear, on International Talk Like a Pirate Day (we be Pirate Entertainers, ye know!) an' the staff loved it! If ye like pirates or history, ye'll not be disappointed, savvy? Make this part of your trip, to be sure, to be sure!!
