Our waiter was very energetic and kind. He explained each dessert to us. I got "cheesecake", which was nothing like US cheesecake. It was drier and not flavorful. But as far as I can tell Viennese desserts are generally dry. My family enjoyed their tortes more than I did. I also had hot chocolate, which was okay.
Loved that the owner is the Maitre De, this place is packed. I think the food looks amazing. I just had a beer. My friend though did have to wait nearly 30 minutes for a bottled juice. Honestly, I loved the environment and service. Great views if you are sitting at a window. Enjoy!
What I expected a Viennese cafe to be like. Dark wood, chandeliers, polite but rather superior waiters and lots of different cakes. The coffee was good but rather small, no make that tiny. Worth going to for the rather expensive experience.
The place itself is awesome. Coffee was great. But too bad the waiters aren't attentive, grumpy and stressed. Which is understandable given its popularity. But I had to wait close to an hour to get my second coffee. Perhaps change the waiters, hire those young and energetic ones.
Traditional Viennese coffee house. Beautiful 19th century interior-dark wood paneling and chandeliers. Food was delicious, Hungarian goulash soup and Klimt tort.
