Queen St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
A great place to spend time and shop. Good food choices as well. They also have a section for fresh produce, of meat vegetables and fruits. A lot of souvenir stalls. They also have decent quality clothes with sweatshirts in the range of $10-$15 for all sizes. Good option for gifting as souvenirs from Melbourne. Loved the dream catchers of all sizes and colours.
This place never disappoints you, it has some or the other festival every Friday. Also this place has some great vegetables market, fist market, food place and many more. Recommendations: Carry your own bag if you are planning to buy veggies and other grocery items. Plan your time properly
Perfect market. Popular, clean cheap. A lot different food, clothing and also touristic items. It is pleasure to walk in and talk with sellers or other customers. Best to visit in early morning. Make little contracting and you can make good deals. Very pleasant for a 2 or 3 hour relaxed visit.
Very easy to spend half a day or evening at this collection of stalls and shops, lots to see and there are hidden treasures, such as the amazing laser cut, pop up birthday cards that were super cheap and very cool. Takes about three hours to walk around all the sheds and shops. Great coffee and food at the Turkish cafe.
No trip to Melbourne is complete without a visit to the Victoria Market. Tons of stall with locally produced items (and a fair deal of stalls with things from China). We arrived late in the morning on a Sunday and by 3pm most stalls had closed or were closing which surprised us. Neither could we find that many places to eat which was unfortunate as we had skipped breakfast in order to be able to enjoy the variety of food that we thought would be
