Easy to get to (on a tram line). Didn't use the tram but parked right next to it. The place looks nice. The staff were nice. I'm b pretty sure the food was nice ( others ate, I did not). I particularly liked the glassware though. It's not often you can say that. I know I never have. But attention to stuff like that really counts. I was here for music. Good room, good sound. Done.
Great staff. Great vibe. Good food. Everything you need for a good night out with friends
One of Captain Atom Man's favourites. Great bands, awesome trivia, and an amazing selection of beer. One simply cannot go wrong with this place.
In the wake of the death of the famous Punters Club in Fitzroy, a hundred years ago, The Northcote Social Club emerged and has held the line for music culture ever since. Not to mention it's just a quality pub to boot. Do yourself a favor and get in there for a meal and a gig. You will be better for it.
I came here for drinks after our dinner, and the place was absolutely buzzing. Fun, loud and eclectic atmosphere, and a menu with classic pub staples that made me wish I had space in my tummy for them, especially the desserts. However, the only thing that I could fit in my tummy was alcohol so I had an Aperol Spritz. Couldn't fault this at all. The staffs here were all super friendly and laidback, and the down to earth vibe made me feel like I'm having a drink at a friend's. Bottoms up mate!
