We stayed at the Renaissance Marina hotel. It is a beautiful hotel. We had a problem with our room after the first night, without a problem they changed our rooms. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The bell man John and his team are very good always waiting with a smile. Loved the shuttle that takes you to the Ocean suites. The private Island is awesome. Recommend renting a cabana. It is well worth the money. We had a amazing 8 days. This was our first time in Aruba. The only down side is there is no night club at the Renaissance . The bar is hoping and there’s music playing but it would be fun to have a club type atmosphere. To get dressed up and go to.

Didn’t enjoy it. The first room we went into there was a very strong smell similar to paint or something toxic it was so overwhelming and was extremely hard to breathe. I asked to be moved. The second room was extremely loud people were screaming and music was playing. I was unable to sleep at night. Even after 12:30 am which is considered quiet hours most establishments. Had to be asked to move again. There were numerous times in which I called the front desk at least 5-6 times in a row in different days and nobody answered the phone. There were stains on the floor in all rooms I stayed in. I did like the private beach, location of the hotel but overall the negatives extremely outweighed the positive. I really wanted to like it but I doubt I would stay here again :/

We stayed at the "Marina Hotel" and honestly, it was not a great hotel. The service was fine, though our room took a while to get ready. The rooms were not great - they were small, worn, and ours had a strange smell. The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the private island, which was absolutely incredible and unforgettable. If you're looking for anything more than a place to crash and a pass to the private island, I'd say skip the hotel.

The service of the employees is really good. Friendly people who understand their job. The hotel is nice, good ambiance, an adults only hotel. Loved it.

Went here with my wife for our honeymoon and we highly recommend this resort. It is located in a convenient tourist area in Oranjestad with several restaurants and stores within walking distance. Several unique features of this resort include: two beaches on a private island that guests of the hotel can only access (you need to take a scenic boat ride to the island), options of regular hotel rooms or suites, friendly staff, a unique private beach with flamingos walking around that interact and are friendly with people, and cabanas (private small huts with scenic ocean views) that you can rent for the day that comes with fruit platter/drinks/champagne and butler service for the day.
